Art Hive Open Studio

The Â鶹AV Art Hive is a space devoted to making art and community, located within the Healthy Living Annex at the Student Wellness Hub.

We offer creative experiences to foster a sense of togetherness along with individual well-being.

Participation requires no art background or experience.

Various art supplies are at your disposal to be creative.Ìý

The Art Hive affords members of the Â鶹AV community the opportunity to step out of their daily challenges, spend time in a very different place, and return to their work feeling more relaxed and focused. We at the Art Hive believe it is important to be mindful of the need to disconnect from stress and to reconnectÌýwith others.Ìý

Â鶹AV is on land which has served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Teaching and Learning Services acknowledges and thanks the diverse Indigenous peoples whose footsteps mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. This land acknowledgement is shared as a starting point to provide context for further learning and action.
