 Networking and Elevator Pitches

This workshop breaks down how participants can talk about their research in ways that highlight the skills and personal attributes needed to establish their professional competencies. Participants learn how to tell their research story where the outcomes are less about research achievements and more about the professional skills they have developed and personal attributes that have helped them succeed.

This workshop is part of SKILLSETS’ Presentation Skills series. Check our website for more workshops in this series.

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify and understand personal strengths
  • Reframe research into a personal trajectory of growth
  • Demonstrate personal strengths in a research story
