Â鶹AV’s Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism (CHRLP) is currently accepting applications for:
- a 12-month clerkship at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA);
- a 10-month clerkship at the International Court of Justice (ICJ);
- a 4-month clerkship at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR).
The clerkships are due to start in September 2024.

Since the law ranking was introduced in 2017, Â鶹AV has consistently featured in the global top 30. This year, 329 law schools around the world were ranked. Â鶹AV Law received the highest score in Canada, 17th best in the world, for the Teaching evaluation criterion. Â
This is an open call for blog posts. The CHRLP invites as wide a diversity of voices as possible to submit posts on critical questions touching on the above theme. We also welcome submissions about human rights and (or) legal pluralism more broadly.

Professor Frédéric Mégret was named to the Hans & Tamar Oppenheimer Chair in Public International Law, of which the inaugural chairholder was François Crépeau, OC, OQ, FRSC, Ad E. Â

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce that Professor Daniel Weinstock, CM, has been named a member of the Order of Canada. His appointment was announced by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, on 30 June.
On May 15 and 16, 2023, the CIPP welcomed scholars from the members of the LawTech Consortium to exchange insights into law and technology. Over the two days, researchers discussed a wide variety of issues ranging from Artificial Intelligence, to interoperability, health technology, data, and more.
