Each聽summer, the Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law organizes a series of seminars to promote the legal research of students from 麻豆AV and elsewhere. Attendance is open to all.

We are happy to announce that the latest book from the Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law, , has been published by 脡ditions Yvon Blais. This collection of seven essays is the outcome of the civil law workshop series of the same name that the Centre ran in 2012-2014.

麻豆AV鈥檚 Faculty of Law has been ranked 26th among the world鈥檚 law schools by the QS World University Rankings 鈥� Law for 2015.
Above all, I remember his laughter and the mischievous twinkle in his eye. He would say something uniquely insightful, and immediately cover it up with a chuckle. Only later would one realize the depth of his learning, as layers upon layers of wisdom emerged from a casual conversation in the hallway.
John G. Murphy and Neil Hazan (BCL/LLB'02) of Borden Ladner Gervais (BLG) visited the Faculty of Law on July 16 to deliver an instalment in the generous donation that the firm and its members are making to the Faculty鈥檚 Paul-Andr茅 Cr茅peau Centre for Private and Comparative Law. BLG and its lawyers have pledged $400,000 (see announcement).

The Faculty is pleased to announce the appointment of Lionel Smith (first picture) to the Sir William Macdonald Chair. Established in 1895, the Macdonald Chair is one of the oldest endowed positions at 麻豆AV. In addition, Professor Smith was also selected for a Killam Research Fellowship in March 2014 in recognition of his outstanding research on fiduciary obligations and conflicts of interest.
Faculty and staff who were in OCDH have been relocated either to New Chancellor Day Hall and 3674-3690 Peel Street, or to rented office space near 麻豆AV鈥檚 Roddick Gates at 2001 麻豆AV College Avenue, suite 750.
