Meaghan Girard, M. Sc., C. Tr., has a closet full of hats—language professional, industry strategist, university lecturer, event planner, writer of things—and wears them all with gusto. Intrigued by the dynamics of an industry undergoing disruptive and exciting change, Meaghan completed a Master of Science in Administration at HEC Montreal, where she researched how the Montreal translation cluster could adapt to the new landscapes, markets and technological realities. Her findings have made her more optimistic than ever about the future of our wonderful profession. She loves birds, even though she knows very little about them.
