Biographie
Rosalie Jukier est membre du corps professoral de la FacultĂ© de droit de Âé¶čAV depuis 1985. Elle y enseigne le droit civil et la common law principalement dans les domaines des obligations contractuelles et le droit judiciaire.
Ses recherches se concentrent sur le droit contractuel comparĂ©, surtout sur le remĂšde de lâexĂ©cution en nature et lâinteraction des droits religieux avec le droit privĂ© des contrats; sur lâincidence des traditions juridiques et des juridictions mixtes sur le droit et la mĂ©thodologie judiciaires; ainsi que sur la pĂ©dagogie juridique.
En 2004, en 2016 et en 2018, l'Association des Ă©tudiants et Ă©tudiantes en droit lui a dĂ©cernĂ© le prix John W. Durnford pour lâexcellence en enseignement. De plus, en 2010 lâUniversitĂ© Âé¶čAV lui a dĂ©cernĂ© le . En 2022, elle est co-rĂ©cipiendaire du prix de lâUniversitĂ© Âé¶čAV.ÌęEn novembre 2023, elle a reçu leÌęÌę(Âé¶čAV Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Learning) et la MĂ©daille du couronnement du Roi Charles III en 2024.
Professeure Jukier a servi la FacultĂ© de droit Ă quatre reprisesĂ titre de vice-doyenne, avec un portefeuille diffĂ©rent Ă chaque fois (admissions, 1991â5; planification stratĂ©gique, 2004â5; Ă©tudes supĂ©rieures en droit, 2010â13; et Ă lâenseignement (responsable du programme BCL/JD), 2019â22).
La professeure Jukier est diplĂŽmĂ©e de la FacultĂ© de droit de Âé¶čAV oĂč, en 1983, elle a obtenu un BCL et un LLB, recevant et la mĂ©daille dâor Elizabeth Torrance et la mĂ©daille dâor AimĂ© Geoffrion lors de la collation des grades. Elle a poursuivi ses Ă©tudes supĂ©rieures en droit Ă lâUniversitĂ© dâOxford. Elle est membre du Barreau du QuĂ©bec depuis 1986.Ìę
