Lower McTavish Pedestrian detour April 7 - 14
A City of Montreal project concrete pour on Friday, April 7 will have approximately twelve trucks accessing McTavish through the alley behind the Bronfman Building. As a result, the pedestrian access across McTavish at Bookstore/McLennan-Redpath Complex crossing point will be blocked off. A detour will be in place for approximately one week starting from April 7.
Easter weekend Library hours

Update, March 30 3:10pm: Our partner company is continuing to investigate the causes of today’s WorldCat service interruption. However, searches in Â鶹AV’s WorldCat are working once again.
We are currently experiencing difficulties with the Library's WorldCat Catalogue & our link resolver. EZproxy & QuestionPoint do not seem to be affected. Our partner company is working on a fix.
Elevator now working in Schulich Library
The elevator is now working in Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering. The elevator has been repaired and is working as expected as of March 29, 2017.

E-resource links in WorldCat unavailable Saturday, March 18, 12am to 4am
Due to scheduled maintenance, links to electronic resources via the Library's WorldCat Catalogue will be unavailable Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12:00am to 4:00am. The WorldCat link resolver - "Find Full Text" links - will also be unavailable during the same period.

Library materials due March 15 have been extended to March 16
Please note, due to the extreme weather conditions, all Library items (regular loans and overnight reserves) that were due on Wednesday, March 15Â are now due on Thursday, March 16. Â
Overnight reserves will still be due by 1 hour after the circulation desk opens in the respective branches.

Macdonald Campus Seed Library Breaking New Ground March 20
On March 20, 2017, the first day of spring, the Macdonald Campus Library at Â鶹AV will officially launch a seed library. The Macdonald Campus Seed Library is the first academic seed library of its kind in Quebec and third in Canada. The library serves the entire Â鶹AV community.
Schulich Library elevator out of service for repairs until late March
Update March 29, 2017: The elevator in Schulich Library is now working.
Please note, the elevator in the Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering will be out of service for repairs for two to three weeks as of March 6, 2017. Â
Water shutdown, McLennan Library Building, March 2 & 3 (10pm-7am)
Please be advised that there will be a City of Montreal water shutdown at the McLennan Library Building on Thursday, March 2 and Friday March 3.  The shutdown will occur on both evenings from 10:00pm until 7:00am and will affect the entire building.
This shutdown is necessary for the City of Montreal to replace a major water valve on Sherbrooke Street.
Extended hours begin February 27
