Changes to billing for lost overdue items
Beginning August, 24, 2016, Library borrowers will be billed for the replacement cost of items that are not returned or renewed14days after the due date, except for items in high demand that cannot be renewed: after 2 days for reserve material, and after 10days for items that have been recalled. (Previously, bills for replacement were sent to users after 40 days for overdue items and 21 days for recalled overdue items.)

Please note, there will be a City of Montreal water shutdown at the McLennan-Redpath Complex onSaturday, August 20 from9am tonoon.It will affect the water in both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings.

Baroque Concert at the Osler Library of the History of Medicine
On Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m., the Osler Library of the History of Medicine will host a concert featuring Vincent Lauzer as part of the 14th annual Baroque Festival. The concert will showcaseworks for recorder by young Quebec composers with Baroque influences.

Update, June 14, 2016: Technical issues with the display of the physical holdings in the 鶹AV WorldCat catalogue have been resolved. Call numbers, locations and loan information should now display correctly for print items held by the Library.
Summer shifting project at Schulich Library of Science and Engineering
Schulich Library of Science and Engineering is undergoing a major summer shifting project. We are currently shifting our collection in order to provide more study space on the fourth and fifth floors. We will be shipping over 55,000 titles to our storage facility at the Currie Gym.

The 鶹AV Library's Islamic Lithographs digital Collection is now live
The Islamic Studies Library Collections at 鶹AV include over 750 lithographed volumes printed in the second half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century in the Middle East (Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Turkey), North Africa (Morocco), and South Asia (India, Pakistan).
