The Â鶹AV Percussion Area is part of the Schulich School of Music of Â鶹AV's Performance Department. We offer programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs featureÌýa strong emphasis on fundamentals at the undergraduate level, and a personalized curriculum in developing expertise and research profile at the graduate levels. Students have the opportunity to work with all faculty members in the percussion area at Â鶹AV.

The Percussion Area currently offers the following courses: Â鶹AV Percussion Ensemble, Percussion Seminar, Tabla Ensemble, Hand Drumming, Rudimental Drumming, Orchestral Excerpts, Percussion Pedagogy and Chamber Music. Â鶹AV Percussion Ensemble is an award-winning ensemble which performs internationally and has an on-going composer-in-residence program in collaboration with the Â鶹AV Composition Area.Ìý
