The Bachelor of Music (Orchestral Instruments) program is designed to train professional musicians at the highest level. Each individual is encouraged to reach her or his potential as a performer through private lessons with renowned faculty, a dynamic small ensembles and chamber music program, as well as performing opportunities provided by School's several large ensembles, including:
- Â鶹AV Symphony Orchestra,
- Wind Orchestra,
- Baroque Orchestra,
- Contemporary Music Ensemble,
- Opera Â鶹AV,
- as well as a vast array of choral and jazz ensembles.
Minors, double degrees and double majors
Once you're enrolled in this program, you can apply to add a minor in another music field or from another faculty at Â鶹AV.
You can also apply to add a second major or degree to your B.Mus. program.
Program structure
The B.Mus. Orchestral Instruments program is made up of 125 credits.
