Dr. Maneshi is a specialist in Emergency Medicine and Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, FMHS. She is Associate Physician in the Emergency Department at the Montreal Children’s Hospital of the Â鶹AV Health Centre (MUHC), as well as Attending Emergency Physician at the CIUSSS l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, working at St. Mary’s and Lakeshore General Hospitals.

As a Â鶹AV Osler Fellow, she has mentoring experience through her role in the Physicianship Apprenticeship course, which involves guiding first-year medical students toward their chosen career fields. She also participates in coaching residents during simulation sessions on communication, teamwork and handling complex clinical situations. Dr. Maneshi is also an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor and Point of Care Ultrasound instructor.

Dr. Maneshi has a strong interest in educational leadership, as the current Chair of the Emergency Department’s Curriculum committee, and as prior member of the Competency Committee of the FRCP Emergency Medicine Program. From 2020-2021, Dr. Maneshi was the Site Chief Resident at the Montreal General Hospital, and prior to that, was Co-Chief resident, Emergency Medicine. She also served a term on the MUHC Patient Safety Advisory Committee, and was Vice-President of Wellness at the Association of Â鶹AV Residents between 2017-2019.

As Assistant Dean, Resident Affairs, Dr. Maneshi will report to the Associate Dean, Postgraduate Medical Education. She will be responsible for developing wellness initiatives and policies related to postgraduate wellness matters. She will also direct access to services for residents including oversight and organization of the Office of Medical Learner Affairs and wellness consultant supervision. She will provide expertise to assist and enhance resident life and learning, including liasing with partners on issues including career counselling, financial helath, accreditation, new trends and best practices related to medical resident affairs.

Dr. Maneshi will communicate regularly with the Association of Residents of Â鶹AV and other stakeholders on issues of wellness, and advise PGME leadership and School of Medicine on maintaining a strong and vibrant medical learning environment.
