Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec Memorial Award
Established in 2018 by members of the Â鶹AV Community in commemoration of the six men who lost their lives as a result of the massacre at the Centre culturel Islamique de Québec that took place on January 29, 2017. Thanks in large part to the 2021 fundraising efforts of the y, and a match from the University, this award is now endowed to exist in perpetuity.
Awarded by a selection committee chaired by the Associate Provost (Equity and Academic Policies), or delegate, on an annual basis to one student in good academic standing (or shared), and enrolled in any Â鶹AV degree program. Applicants will have demonstrated a commitment to fostering the inclusion of Muslims within Quebec and Canadian society.

Submit the completed application form 2024, with two letters of reference, no later than Monday, November 25, 2024.
