Why I joined the Lab
With the growing popularity of the use of technology and AI in the retail space, the DataSphere Lab and all its different offerings and initiatives seemed like the perfect opportunity to deepen my knowledge and experience of Data use in Retail. Working with the marketing team not only lets me leverage the skills I've learned during my marketing degree at Â鶹AV, but also help students seeking help in data analytics (like myself) to find the resources and help they need to excel in this field.
Role in the Lab
As part of the Marketing team, I help in the overall promotion and marketing of the lab to students and SMEs. More specifically, I take care of the DataSphere Lab's social media strategy and overall promotion strategy. This includes creating content that we can post on LinkedIn and Instagram to attract students and SMEs to our events, creating and updating the content calendar to make sure the Lab is consistently posting content that is relevant and interesting, and working on an overall promotional strategy to push the Lab's offerings and initiatives online and offline to a larger audience.
Job summary
A Content Developer in website development creates and builds websites that clearly communicate our mission, services, and value, enhancing its online presence by tailoring information to users' interests. They also produce marketing assets, such as overviews, one-pagers, brochures, and other materials that succinctly express our service offerings. In the social media sphere, the Content Developer creates engaging content to connect with online communities, fostering an active social media presence to raise awareness of the DataSphere Lab's offerings and achievements.
