J. Archibald appointed to the Advisory Board responsible for the Lingua Traduzione Didattica collection
J. Archibald, senior faculty lecturer in translation studies at Â鶹AV,  has been appointed to the Advisory Board for a collection on language, translation and language didactics, Lingua Traduzione Didattica, published by FrancoAngeli, an Italian academic publishing house. This book series was founded by Anna Cardinaletti, Professor of linguistics at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Fabrizio Frasnedi, Professor of linguistics in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Bologna, and Giuliana Garzone, Professor of linguistics and English translation at the University of Milan.
Archibald has been an invited professor at the University of Milan on several occasions, most recently in 2017, when he gave a lecture series on Translation and War. He has also served on the Italian Research and University Evaluation Agency since 2011. The Agency plays an important role in quality management for the Italian research community.
