Homeopathic Hospital. Corner of Â鶹AV College and Burnside Avenue.

The Homeopathic Hospital had its origins with the creation of the Montreal Homeopathic Association in 1863. The Association's members were able to raise funds to purchase a building at the corner of Â鶹AV College and Burnside Avenue and the hospital opened in 1894. A program for nurses' training was established at the same time. An increase in the number of patients led the Board to fund the construction a new hospital on Marlowe Street in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, which opened in 1927. It was renamed the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 1951.
